I often encounter people who are obese or some who are somewhat overweight for their height or age. Aside from the physical structure of course, I notices that most if not all of them are suffering from mild to severe inferiority complex. For them their physical appearance lowers their worth as a person. This is one of the most negative effects of being fat or physically unattractive.


Most of them have tried not only one but several ways or means of dieting or shedding those unwanted fats. For most of them who failed, gaining confidence, boosting their morale and achieving their dream figure is already impossible. Here enters the weight loss success stories of some, who indeed succeeded and reached their dream. For example the story of William, frequently or must I say aptly called Free Willy by other people especially during pool parties which he participated in. He had a problem with his weight and his weight loss success story began when his date, Cindy gave him a harsh comment, maybe meant as a joke, but for William it was a wake up call. He then started his diet, now more determined to prove to everyone especially to Cindy that the ugly duckling will soon transform into a beautiful swan. Physical activity must be a part of any type of weight loss therapy. It is not possible to maintain a successful healthy weight control program without the use of physical activity. Physical activity can play a large role in contributing to weight loss and overweight or obese adults.

Physical activity also plays a significant role in the decrease of abdominal fat, as well as increasing the strength and structure of your heart. Initially in a healthy weight-control program, there should be moderate levels of physical activity for 30 minutes per day, five days a week. An adult should work towards setting a long-term goal to accumulate and accommodate at least 30 minutes of work and time per day, every day.
