SAMPLE MEALS FOR A 1500-CALORIE DIET
One of the more important things in undergoing a diet plan is consistency. There should be consistency in the food you take and in their servings. This will help your body adjust to it gradually without sacrificing the nutrients that may be lacking in the diet plan.
1500 calorie diet meal plans has become popular nowadays. In this plan, consistency is a must. Any one who would fail to stick to it would just have to start it over again. However, some 1500 calorie diet meal plan encourages its followers to eat their normal food choices, but in decreased portions. You may add a chocolate bar in your diet or rice, then again, the key is consistency and controlled portions.
One typical 1500 calorie diet meal plan includes 2 egg, low fat cheddar cheese omelet (320 calories), 2 slices of whole meal toast with thin spread of butter (200 calories) and large slice of melon (47 calories) for breakfast. For lunch, a spicy turkey salad (304 calories) can be taken in. For snack you can have muesli or honey nut health bar (180 calories). Lastly, for dinner, baked potato with 100g baked beans and cottage cheese (350 calories) and large helping of salad, fruits and vegetables (100 calories).
Equally, water is important in this diet. Since it does not contain calories, there is no limitation on the water you drink per day but there is a minimum requirement, that is, 8 glasses of water a day. This will help you keep your balance and will be helpful in rinsing out the toxins in your body and speed up your metabolism.
