A Special K diet plan involves eating a cup of one of the specially made Kellogg’s Special K cereals. Pour in 2/3 cup of skim milk and fruit for breakfast. Then, repeat the process for either lunch or dinner. Snack options are limited to fruits or vegetables. Special K products also include snack bars, meal replacement bars and drinks that complete the Special K diet plan. This program lasts for about two weeks.

Ever since it was introduced years ago, the Special K diet plan has received considerable amount of attention from both the dieters and the dieticians. On the upside, this diet plan is a delicious way of adding calcium to your diet. In support of this, several studies have claimed that additional calcium intake can actually help you lose some weight. Further, regular eating of breakfast is a great aid in weight loss efforts. Lastly, the meal replacements are really good choices for a quick weight loss in the first few weeks.

Unfortunately, there are lots of people who become bored with cereals easily. Truly, continuous eating of only a certain type of food can really usher in a monotonous eating habit.
