Atkins offers recipe in all the food products that you would either vegetarian or non vegetarian. So there is no restriction in cooking good food whatever might be your taste and liking. There are numerous Atkins recipes with ham as well, which you can cook easily and home and are very healthy. Ham spinach tortilla is a stuffed food, in this case spinach is chosen as the inside stuff, this can be decided as per your wish and liking.
The preparation should start with heating the oven for at least 425F. Remove the moisture from spinach, mix with mayonnaise, salt and garlic. Take 5 slices of cheese each of quarter inch dice, mix with the spinach mix. Take a dampened paper towels and wrap the tortilla and heat it in the microwave with high till the mixture gets softened for at least 20 to 30 sec. Apply oil on one side of the tortilla, and then run cumin over that. Place these tortillas in a baking sheet such that the oil applied layer is down. You can place more cheese slices to cover the tortilla completely.
Then take the remaining spinach and place them over the ham. Fold the Tortilla in 2/3 length wise, and then roll over to cover the remaining exposed side. Bake this set up until it turns brown and cheese is completely melted for at least 12 to 15 min. After taking from oven, allow it to cool for 5 minutes and can start cutting the roll. At least 12 Stromboli’s can be made out of this mixture.
