Atkins Recipe – Crab cake

Atkins recipes are not only famous for their taste but also for healthy reasons. Many people are diet conscious in the current world so to build the immunity and live in this congested and polluted world one has to take healthy and protein rich diet. One such main course is Atkins crab cakes. This particular recipe is very much liked by people for the taste and unique flavor. The ingredients include minimal oil, and healthy food products like red bell pepper, green onions, crab meat, 3 spoons of fresh parsley, half spoon of old bay seasoning.

The preparation also is simple. Heat a spoon of oil in a non stick pan in slow flame mode. Put one small red bell pepper and chopped green onion for 3 minutes. Move these things to a bowl then add crab, two spoons of bread crumbs, parsley, old bay and mayonnaises. Mix the mixture properly with a spoon until everything is blend together. Close the bowl and refrigerate for at least 20 min. Take the crab cakes in small shaped containers and invert them on to a baking sheet. Sprinkle bread crumbs on top and around the cake. Cover with a plastic wrap and again refrigerate for 24hrs. Take the pieces, heat a spoon of oil in pan and place the cakes over it. Heat till the cakes turn brown on all sides. Atkins crab cake is ready to eat.
