But what is ketosis? Wit the dramatically low intake of carbs, the body will end up burning stored fats instead for energy resulting to losing weight.

So how can one perfect the 20 carbs per day diet plan when almost every meal is loaded with carbohydrates such as bread, potatoes, pasta, corn and the like?

Well, you would have to load up your groceries with protein foods to make up your meals. The only sources of carbs for you now will be the salads or the greens you will be eating with the hearty serving of meat.

For example, for your breakfast, you will now skip that wheat bread and bacon combo and just eat the bacon pieces. You can couple it with scrambled eggs. Skip the coffee as well as that will make you crave sugar which is a no-no in the induction phase.

The 20 carbs per day diet plan may be a bit hard at the start as it may make you a bit constipated with the constant red meats and the lack of fiber from grains but just like any other diet plan, with constant discipline, you will get to lose those unwanted pounds in 2 weeks in the induction stage.
