- half a cup of sugar free pancake syrup
- 1 teaspoon of dried tarragon or you can use dried herbes de province
- half a teaspoon of salt
- finally black pepper that is finely ground
Preparation:
Each chicken breast halves should be cut into 6 pieces so therefore you should get 24 pieces. Now keep the chicken in a baking dish or in a plastic bag. Mix up the pancake syrup, herbes de Provence, mustard, salt and pepper till all get mixed finely and smoothly. Pour or apply this mixture on top of the chicken and let it to marinate and keep it for 4 hours in refrigerator.
Thread the chicken strips and cook it in an oven in 450F. After the chicken is cooked well in the oven take it out and remove the chicken strips if you have covered with foil. Heat the left out marinate mixture for few minutes and serve the Maple chicken strips hot with the marinate mixture.
