You may have watched the infomercial about the P90X Extreme Workout Program. In layman’s terms, this is just mainly a work out created by Tony Horton which is a 90-day long home fitness plan. This product has 12 DVD’s all in all that will give you various work out instructions that will need dumbbells, a chin up bar and exercise bands. It works on the premise of “muscle confusion,” allowing your muscles not to get too familiar on a routine so as to avoid the plateau effect.
Just like other work out plans, the P90X Extreme Workout Program also has a P90X diet plan. The P90X diet plan is a 3 staged nutritional program that is very important in the success of your use of the entire P90X program.
How does the P90X diet plan work?
It revolves on a 13 week long eating strategy that allows you to eat healthy to lose weight and at the same time build muscles. It is designed to up your stamina and your metabolic rate for a leaner and toner body.
As was mentioned earlier, this P90X diet plan is composed of three fundamental stages. The first stage is the Fat Shredder stage that will make you eat food items high in protein to boost the muscle building and the fat burning. The second stage is the Energy Booster stage which will promote a balance of foods which have ample amounts of carbohydrates and proteins.
