Tri-color Salad -Atkins Recipe
Truly there is no agreed definition of health; in fact, there have been many definitions. To the layman, health implies a sound mind in a sound body, in a sound family, in a sound environment. The widely accepted definition of health is that given by the World Health Organization (WHO), which states “health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely an absence of disease or infirmity”.
The WHO definition of health projects three different dimensions of health- physical, mental and social health- all are closely related. Materials required:
• Balsamic vinegar – one spoon
• Lime juice- half spoon
• Olive oil – three spoons to cook
• Black pepper- to taste
• Salt – to taste
• Head endive- one (finely sliced)
• Head radicchio- half (or even three cups whichever is favourable)
• Bibb lettuce- half
Method of preparation:
Tri-color Salad is considered to be one of the best appetizers known and the dish requires certain ingredients like pieces of Bibb lettuce, Endive & Radicchio with olive oil to cook and known amounts of vinegar and lemon juice just top give a sour taste. Add all the ingredients inside the bowl and season with olive oil and mix them thoroughly with some added amount of lemon juice and vinegar to provide sourness to the dish. Then the dish is then tossed to desired level.
